ここからの眺めが　一番好きだからと

本当に見てもらいたかったのは

街一番の高い塔でも

ガラス細工のような空と月でもなく

君のすぐ傍にいて　君の視界にない

僕のことだったのかもしれない

Because I like the sight from this place the best,

I invited you, though.

What I really wanted to show you is,

Not the highest tower in the town,

Not the sky and moon like a glasswork,

But, about me,

君は笑いながら　いつも　つきあってくれたね

そんな　僕の嘘に

僕たちに必要だったのは

そこに何があるか　ではなく

ただこの階段を一緒に登ること　だったのを

君は知っていたんだね
